About Me

Christie Gross Christie Gross Designs

I have always been fascinated by differences in cultural design, largely due to my exposure to Native American and West African culture. Classic and aesthetically clean design has always been my goal, as it allows one to have an appreciation for a piece that might otherwise be a simple advertisement. The desires of the client are always at the forefront of design, as an uncluttered, concise message is much appreciated by viewers. Though design began as a much–liked hobby of mine, it has evolved into a passion that constantly pushes me to improve my skills to bring people innovative and aesthetically pleasing graphics.

Writing has always been a passion of mine. I feel that it is important to create instructive and thought–provoking works in order to challenge the human intellect. My first novel, Passages: Through the Eye of the Needle is a philosophical fiction that encourages the human mind to consider things that have been long forgotten, and urges humanity to take a step back and assess what society has become. Passages was published in December 2012 by Wasteland Press. More information may be found at this location.

I hold a Bachelors of Business Administration, and am currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems and Information Assurance. I recently returned from a two year post in the Peace Corps. I served in Burkina Faso, West Africa, and was a Small Business Advisor for a women's business group in the production of shea butter and shea-related products.
